wordliz
Wordliz is a sliding word puzzle. The board holds several hidden words, scrambled together — every tile belongs to one of them, nothing is spare. Drag rows and columns — whole lines move, wrapping around the edges — until each word clicks into place. Putting one word right pulls the others apart, and that is the entire game.
Reading the board
- 🟩 Green — a hidden word. It banks itself.
- 🟨 Amber — right letters, wrong order. Reorder the row, don't break it up.
- 🟥 Red — a real word, but not one of the hidden ones. Worth a point for ruling it out.
Only hidden words can be banked. Everything else is information.
Every word you turn up, banked or ruled out, shows what it means — the little dictionary ships with the game, so nothing is looked up online.
Two languages
Play in English or Russian. Each language has its own word list and its own dictionary of meanings; the interface follows. Board codes carry their language with them, so a board someone shares opens in the language it was dealt in, whichever one you happen to be playing.
Four ways to play
- Daily — one 5×5 board for everyone, once a day. Compare move counts fairly, keep your streak.
- Free — no clock, three board sizes (4×4, 5×5, 6×6). Your score is your move count.
- Rush — the clock is ticking and every banked word buys less time than the last. How deep can you go?
- Custom — your board, your rules: 2–6 words of 4–6 letters, how many letters show from the start, an optional clock, hints on or off.
Every board is a code
A board fits in a short code like PS9WXB — copy it from the pause or end screen, send it to a friend, and typed into the menu it rebuilds your exact shuffle: same words, same scramble, in any copy of the game. Custom codes start with C and carry your rules along with the board.
Finish a game and your share becomes a challenge code: whoever enters it plays your exact board with your score to beat — fewest moves, or most words in Rush — gets a verdict at the end, and can fire a challenge straight back. Duels with anyone, through any messenger, no accounts.
No accounts, no downloads, works on phones. Free.
